    Practical Lime Course

I go on several courses throughout the year and some can be very stuffy and over complicated with too much technical information, but this was nicely balanced for us in the business and also the home owners. As someone who recommends the use of Lime mortars etc. on a day to day basis I will now be adding your name to my list of suppliers for lime products etc., which I trust is acceptable to you. Thanks again for an excellent day and the superb lunch, it was well worth waiting for!

    Practical Lime Course

I just want to say how excellent I thought the 'Practical Lime Course' was yesterday. I only booked the day before without really having thought through what I was expecting! I just felt it was about time I understood more about this subject, it having been a topic of discussion with friends over the past 7 years.

I really just want to thank you for prompt, kind, helpful and friendly service throughout all this and for providing much of the materials used in the renovation.

I'm not sure how often you get feedback, or heard how things had gone, but I thought the least I could do is let you know how well the lime putty and lime wash has worked out - even I as a complete amateur was able to learn how to plaster - and should you ever need a testimonial from someone who has used your products please feel free the include this note from one very very very grateful customer.

    Breathable lime

After extensively using lime putty products in the house, [a Grade 11 Listed Building] a damp survey was carried out by a reputable remedial treatments company. A damp meter was applied to the surface of the internal plaster and the chap just could not believe that a traditional solid wall could be so dry without tanking. The use of lime has allowed the walls to breathe and the moisture to evaporate away without resorting to modern materials.
