| Characteristics | Beeswax
consists of natural beeswax and other natural waxes, vegetable oils, resins
and natural solvents. It is easy to use, penetrates well, is water-repellent,
breathable, anti-static and has a pleasant smell. |
| Ingredients | Citrus peel oil,
beeswax, carnauba wax, paraffin wax, aliphatic hydrocarbons, colophony
resin, linseed oil, wood oil, ethanol, propolis, copaiba balm, Peru balm,
cobalt, zirconium, zinc and calcium-octoate drier. |
| Application | This
Beeswax can be used everywhere for cleaning and protecting, except in
damp and wet rooms. Suitable for hard and soft woods, whether raw, stained,
or oiled, e.g. toys, furniture, panelling, antiquities and musical instruments. |
| Preliminary treatment | Surface
must be smooth, dry (max wood moisture: 14%), clean and free from grease.
If necessary, clean with Thinner. When priming with Universal
Priming Oil, consult data sheet. |
| Directions for use | Ready
to use. Apply thinly and evenly with lint free cloth and polish. Thick
coats may turn white. Dry after 3-6 hours. |
| Coverage |
On unprimed wood one litre covers 30-40 mē, on primed wood, 40-60 mē. |
| Cleaning of implements |
Clean
immediately after use with water. Clear stubborn remains with Thinner. |
| Storage |
Keep in a cool dry
place and seal well. |
| Safety Precautions | Flammable!
Danger of spontaneous combustion! Keep rags soaked in beeswax in water or allow to dry out completely (and then take for recycling). Keep away from children. |
| Disposal | Ask advice about
quantities to prevent leftovers. Clean out containers and take to a recycling
centre. Do not dispose of solvent-based products carelessly. Dried out
leftovers can be disposed of with your household rubbish. |
