  • In undiluted form, also suitable for the pretreatment of substrates containing plaster (gypsum-bound plasters, gypsum board, staff boards, etc.)
  • Improves adhesion
  • For interior and outside work
  • Regulates absorbency. Does not form a film. Easily permeable by water vapor
  • Pretreatment of base to obtain a non-slip and uniformly absorbent substrate
  • For a colour pretreatment to prevent substrates from shining through even when thin decorative plasters are applied. Available in natural white or in all colours of the BAYOSAN colour card
  • To be used especially before the application of BAYOSAN decorative plasters
  • Cannot be used as a damp course on account of its open structure

  • Diffusion Value Sd < 0.1 m with single application

Colour Available in natural white or in all colours of the BAYOSAN colour card

Sizes Plastic bucket, 4 kg capacity (80 buckets per pallet = 320 kg)
Plastic bucket, 15 kg capacity (30 buckets per pallet = 450 kg)

Coverage Depending on nature and absorbency of substrate:
approx. 20 m² per 4 kg bucket
approx. 75 m² per 15 kg bucket
    approx. 0.2 kg/m²
    approx. 5 m²/kg .

Preparation Suitable substrates include plasters containing gypsum, lime or cement, unpainted, provided that these are clean and thoroughly dry. Loose parts, flaking and hollow areas, dirt and dust must be removed. The surface must have set properly and be completely dry. Sanding substrates must first be pretreated with suitable precoats such as BAYOSAN PF 05 bonding agent. Pretreat walls affected by algae and / or fungus with suitable agents before the application. If there is a risk of water-soluble discolouration (old paintwork, traces of glue, lignine compounds), precoat with dampcourse seals.

    Application

Dilute before application. Mix-ratio: 2 parts BAYOSAN DG 27 decorative precoat and 1 part water. The material may only be applied in the undiluted form to substrates containing gypsum. Application is carried out with a brush or a lamb-fleece roller. Apply BAYOSAN DG 27 decorative precoat and apply evenly and generously. With highly absorbent substrates, the procedure should be repeated after the first coating has dried. Tools are to be cleaned immediately after use with hot water if possible. Do not apply at less than + 5 ºC wall and air temperature.

Curing Time Allow coating to dry thoroughly (depending on environmental conditions and the absorbency of the substrate, approx. 12 hours). After drying, all the usual decorative plasters can be applied to the surfaces treated.

Cleaning Wash tools with warm water.

Storage Store closed buckets in cool area but not under + 5°C. Once opened, keep buckets tightly closed and use within a short time. Keeps for approx. 12 months in original pack.
