| Characteristics | Napona (solvent free)
is a very skin-friendly liquid soap made from natural raw materials. It
is meant for cleaning implements (pads, brushes, rollers) after using
any BIOFA solvent free product (Water- based Varnishes, Wall Emulsions).
At least 99% biodegradable according to OECD tests. |
| Ingredients | Water, soy and cocoa
fat acids, potassium hydroxide, lavender oil. |
| Application | For removing stubborn
stains, old oil or wax layers from parquet floors. The water-Napona
mixture depends on the kind of timber, the amount of dirt and the thickness
of the oil or wax layer. Make a trial first (thin at least with 10 parts
water for oak and beech wood in view of possible discoloration). Clean
implements with a 1:1 mixture of Napona and water and rinse well. |
| Directions for use | Mix 1:1 with water
(not for oak and beech!) and apply with a cloth. Leave for 5-20 minutes.
Re-apply where mixture dries up in this time. Foaming means that oil or
wax are being dissolved. Check before removing soap that dirt/wax/oil
has been dissolved. Then clean and remove excess soap with water; allow
the floor to dry out completely before treating further. |
| Coverage | A 1:10 mixture will
do 40-60 m2 per litre of soap A 1:1 mixture will do 8-12 m2 per litre of soap. |
| Storage | Keep in a cool dry place and
seal well. Protect from frost. |
| Safety precautions | Keep
out of reach of children. |
| Disposal | Ask advice about
quantities to prevent leftovers. Clean out containers and take to a recycling
centre or use again. |
