1 Existing roof covering.
2 Tile batten.
3 New counter batten (min. 25 mm for ventilation).
4 STEICO Universal (22 or 35mm) / STEICO Duo Dry (40mm) / STEICO Special Dry (60mm plus)
5 STEICO Multi UDB Breather Membrane
6 STEICO flex between rafters.
7 Savolit Plus Wood Wool Board 15 mm (or existing ceiling finish).
Roofs with pitches between 16°-10° will require taped joints and usually a membrane is used.
Roofs with pitches shallower that 10° (e.g. flat roofs) will always require taped joints and a membrane.
