An overview of Building Biology, the holistic building science dealing with healthy buildings, healthy living and sustainability.
10:45 – Slice of Lime (Mark Rees, Mike Wye Conservation Team Manager)
An introduction to the use of lime in renovation: history, chemistry, types of lime, additives and specification.
11:45 – Refreshment + Tour of Mike Wye & Associates
12:30 – Lunch
13:15 – The Next Generation of Insulation (Steve Ruggier, Pavatex Technical Executive)
Natural insulation, including Pavatex wood fibre systems and Cork Board.
14:15 – Thermafleece ” The UK’s Only British Sheep’s Wool Insulation” (Mark Lynn, Managing Director, Eden Renewables)
15:15 – Walking on Recycled Glass (Carl Sanger, GEOCELL Sales Executive)
GEOCELL Foam Glass in application, including limecrete floor systems.
