The Kreidezeit range of products are ecologically sound and are made from natural and renewable sources. Their vast range of vegan-friendly paints are suitable for a wide range of internal and external surfaces.
Kreidezeit Vega Wall Paint incorporates a vegetable protein as the binding agent in place of the traditional milk ingredient, casein, which can be found in some other paints. It also provides a breathable, wipe-resistant finish for walls and ceilings; free of synthetic resin binders . All ingredients are from natural sources.

Kreidezeit also produce a linseed based Stand Oil Paint which is certified to DIN 53160:Testing of Coloured Toys DIN for Resistance to Saliva and Perspiration; and is therefore safe for children*.
*Chemical sensitivity can exist with many natural ingredients so please be sure to follow guidance regarding ventilation during application and drying. Keep children away from freshly painted areas if there is any doubt.

Virtually VOC free paints, the high clay content helps to destroy airborne odours and contaminants, contributes to even out the humidity internally and is also anti-static therefore reducing dust and allergens.
Clay emits negative ions. Higher ambient levels of these are widely accepted as being beneficial to health and well-being.
Kreidezeit do not use preservatives in many of their paints. Therefore the Clay Paint is supplied as a powder to which you add water and pigments for colour if required.
Earthborn Claypaint is a ready to use paint. Available in a collection of gorgeous classic and contemporary colour pallets suitable for all areas of your home.
Claypaint is part of the Classic Range with Earthborn Lifestyle Emulsion and Earthborn No17 Eggshell available in the same striking colours.
Many traditional forms of limewash contained tallow (animal fat) to aid water-shedding and offer some protection.
Mike Wye Limewash uses linseed oil as standard as the alternative to tallow and is therefore suitable for vegans.
For use on porous substrates, Limewash is highly breathable and you can apply it both internally and externally. Available naturally in white or mixed to a range of traditional and bespoke colours using a range of earth pigments.
