The Lime Plastering Course is an opportunity for some ‘hands on’ experience in using both traditional and modern lime plasters and techniques to conserve, maintain or upgrade traditional buildings.
As the Lime Plastering Course is dedicated to plastering it offers far more depth than our Practical Use of Lime Course which covers other tasks such as pointing. It will benefit those people wishing to better understand the processes and timings involved.
Our approach is to create a relaxed environment where you will enjoy learning, with ample opportunity for discussion in the breaks. Course numbers on the Lime Plastering Course are limited to ensure individual attention by two course leaders.
For each session there is a practical demonstration, then participants are encouraged to have a go themselves, with guidance at hand. All tools, materials and personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided but please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
Purchase can be made at the end of the course and participants will be entitled to a 10% discount on all future purchases from our range of traditional lime putty products and tools.
The courses are held at our premises in Buckland Filleigh, Devon. For further details or to book a course please contact us.
For further information or to book, call our office during opening hours and make a payment by card. You can also make an enquiry online by selecting ‘ADD TO QUOTE’ and pay into our trading account by bank transfer. Your place will only be confirmed once payment has been received.
